Bodegas Pinesque is a company dedicated to the elaboration of high quality artisan and author wines. We are located in the Municipality and State of Chihuahua.
We offer different labels designed for palates looking for a natural wine, which preserves the greatest amount of nutrients, aromas and flavors of the grape, respecting the characteristics that our terroir offers us in an artisanal way without the addition of chemicals and preservatives, year after year. showing what our land offers us, making each of them a work of art with the renowned Pinesque seal.
“PINESQUE” is formed from the surnames “Pinoncély-Esquer”. Our different labels are designed for palates looking for a natural wine that preserves the greatest amount of nutrients, aromas and flavors of the grape, respecting the characteristics that the terroir offers us and making it in an artisanal way without the addition of chemicals and preservatives.
La Bodega is the result of 15 years of family artisanal winemaking as a result of the teaching and guidance received from Don Gastone Guglielmina, of Italian origin and with a great tradition in artisanal winemaking for several generations. The winery was founded in 2009 by 3 wine lovers, seeking to take advantage of the taste and passion they have for it, to share its benefits through a high-end product that represents the flavors and character of the vast and varied terroir of Chihuahua. .
Additionally, Bodegas Pinesque has led the Chihuahua wine cluster, promoting quality production and integrating other producers in order to generate greater value to the field, developing the full potential of our lands and those who work them.
From the 2009 vintage, the first commercial wine from Bodegas Pinesque called “5 de Pinesque” was offered to the market in 2010. It was created based on the combination of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and Shiraz grapes, captivating the consumer due to its organoleptic characteristics, which caused locals and strangers to be startled by the capacity of our terroir.
From the 2010 vintage, we produced two wines: 5 de Pinesque 2010 with similar characteristics to the one that preceded it; and a second wine under the Novembre label, made from a late Cabernet Sauvignon grape that just gave it its name in Italian, a unique and unrepeatable vintage limited to 3,000 liters, achieved thanks to the particular characteristics that occurred in said year and that allowed the grapes to remain in the vineyard for two additional months. Both wines were silver medal winners in the XIX Ensenada Tierra del Vino 2011 International Contest, competing with 351 international labels that represented the 11 competing countries.
In 2011 we produced three wines: Peach Chardonnay 2011 , an aromatized, young, sweet and versatile white dessert wine that delights palates looking for a soft and fruity wine; the third vintage of 5 from Pinesque , being the second vintage in a row to win a silver medal at the XXI Ensenada Tierra del Vino International Competition 2013 ;
In 2014 we obtained a gold medal in our Bárbaro 2011 wine from late barbera grapes, another unique and unrepeatable vintage limited to 1000 bottles, spending a period of 16 months in French oak barrels at the "XXII Ensenada Tierra del Vino International Competition 2014". .
In 2015, on the 5th of Pinesque 2012, this time he obtained a gold medal in the "XXIII International Contest Ensenada Tierra del Vino 2015".
Finally in 2016, on the 5th of Pinesque 2014, he obtained a gold medal in the "XXIII International Contest Ensenada Tierra del Vino 2016". Our last medals obtained were silver medals for our vintages 2012, 2014 of the 5 de Pinesque at the Concours Mundial de Bruxelles 2016 as well as the 2015 vintage in the 2018 edition. raising the name of Chihuahua and Mexico in the world. Our most recent label, Gastone e María 2015 , was awarded a Silver medal in the Mexico Selection Contest in 2018. Finally , the 2017 vintage of 5 Pinesque obtained a silver medal in the 2020 Mexico Selection Contest.
